Wheel of the Year needs no account, so there is nothing to be locked out of. Most questions have an answer you can act on immediately, below. Anything else, write to us.

I paid for Premium and it is not showing

Open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your App Store account, not to us, so a restore works on any device signed in to the same account and after any reinstall. If a payment was taken and a restore does not recover it, email us with the date of purchase and we will look into it.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us, so we cannot cancel one on your behalf. On iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. Refund requests also go to Apple, via reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I get my journal out, or delete it?

Everything you write stays on your device — we never receive it and hold no copy, which also means we cannot recover it for you. Settings → Your data → Export writes the lot as JSON or plain text. Delete all my data is immediate and needs no request to us.

Because nothing is on a server, deleting the app deletes your journal with it. Export first if you want to keep it.

The dates look wrong

Check Settings → General → Hemisphere first — the wheel follows the seasons, so the dates shift by about six months between north and south. Solstices and equinoxes are calculated on your device and shown in your own time zone; the four cross-quarter festivals use conventional civil dates and are labelled as such. If you think something is genuinely wrong, tell us which festival and which year and we will check it.

Notifications are not arriving

All reminders are scheduled by your device — there is no push server — so they survive being offline but need permission. Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Wheel of the Year, then the app’s own Settings → Notifications.

Reporting something inaccurate

Every claim in the app is labelled by kind and cites its sources, precisely so it can be checked. If you find something wrong or a source misrepresented, we would genuinely like to know — quote the passage and we will correct it or say why we disagree.
