Support — Wheel of the Year
Wheel of the Year needs no account, so there is nothing to be locked out of. Most questions have an answer you can act on immediately, below. Anything else, write to us.
Email: contact@sabbats.app — we answer in English and French, usually within two working days.
I paid for Premium and it is not showing
Open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to the Apple or Google account used to buy them, not to us, so a restore works after reinstalling and on another device using that same store account. If a payment was taken and a restore does not recover it, email us with the store and date of purchase.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription in the app. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple or Google, so we cannot cancel one on your behalf. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the paid period ends. Refund requests must also go through the store that processed the payment.
How do I get my journal out, or delete it?
Everything you write stays on your device — we never receive it and hold no copy, which also means we cannot recover it for you. Settings → Your data → Export writes the lot as JSON or plain text. Delete data on this device is immediate.
Because nothing is on a server, deleting the app deletes your journal with it. Export first if you want to keep it.
How do I delete anonymous data held by services?
Open Settings → Your data → Request deletion of remote data, or follow the data deletion instructions. The app prepares the anonymous PostHog and RevenueCat identifiers needed to locate the records.
The dates look wrong
Open Settings → General → Seasonal hemisphere and choose the cycle matching your local seasons. Solstices and equinoxes are calculated on your device in your own time zone; the four cross-quarter festivals use conventional civil dates and are labelled as such. If something still looks wrong, tell us the festival, year, hemisphere and time zone.
Notifications are not arriving
All reminders are scheduled by your device — there is no push server — so they work offline but need permission. Check your device’s notification settings for Wheel of the Year, then open the app’s own Settings → Notifications.
Reporting something inaccurate
Every claim in the app is labelled by kind and cites its sources, precisely so it can be checked. If you find something wrong or a source misrepresented, we would genuinely like to know — quote the passage and we will correct it or say why we disagree.
